- 5 / 5By Stephen TrumbullAwesome little place. Notice, though, Google Maps will lead you astray. This is not east of Whitesburg. It's on Memorial Parkway, just south of airport. It's a little tricky to get to, look for the silver trailer and, if dark, awesome retro lights.
The donuts themselves are great. They're made fresh in a charming, kind of retro machine you can find yourself staring at for far too long. They are cooked perfectly and are a perfect consistency.
The toppings, while looking simple and rustic, are of high quality. Not one of the flavors have I been disappointed in.
The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is fun and inviting. There is an argument that a larger place would be nice, but it would detract from the feel.
